  My mom and I went looking for a small dog because she had to put her dog to sleep on Halloween. The place was very depressing feeling kinda like a nursing home for animals. There were only a handful of small dogs and 2 were on hold with pending adoptions and the rest were on a medical hold including a Chihuahua with heartworms. We went to look at the bigger dogs and their kennels smelled disgusting like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were plenty of staff and volunteers just standing around that could have been cleaning. One of the dogs actually snarled at me and was acting very aggressive. I'm pretty sure that if it was for him being in a kennel he would have attacked me. I would not recommend going here or surrendering your animals here.

  The one greeter at the door was nice however, after driving 45 min to come see the cats/ kittens they had posted online we are told that they stop taking any applications an hour before closing. I understand there is a time frame for closing up, but as of this day there is NOTHING on the website that mentions this information. I now had to take my kids back to the vehicle crying and now look elsewhere. Bad business practices for your hours and time frames sending people away. I won't be back.
