  Dr. Ciulla and his colleagues have been treating my 90-year-old mother for age-related wet macular degeneration for over three years. She is also restricted to a powered chair for her mobility. The doctor and his staff have been most accommodating to us on every visit to the office. They show great compassion to my mother in the manner in which they treat her. They are gentle, reassuring, and kind, while being most professional. Special thanks go to Rochelle and Shyla on his staff for their amazing care. Dr. Ciulla himself is obviously a skilled and renonwed expert in his field. We know that we are receiving the best care possible for mom. His vigilant treatment of her condition has truly helped her to retain a good portion of her central vision during this period, something that undoubtedly would not have been possible without his efforts. As a result she has been able to maintain independence that she easily would have lost. We have great respect and admiration for Dr. Ciulla and his staff!

  In December my son had a sledding accident which caused the rupture of the lense on his left eye. He was seen by both Dr. Ciulla and Dr. Deitch of the Midwest Eye Institute. After examining my son's eye, an emergency surgery was scheduled for the same day. He was recently seen for his final post-op visit. The surgery was very successful with the best possible outcome. My husband and I are so pleased with the care that he received and we are grateful to have had access to such fine doctors.
